BBPD Searching For Attempted Murder Suspect

Breaux Bridge Police are searching for a suspect wanted for attempted murder following a July 15 shooting.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jabari LeBlanc  for attempted second-degree murder following an extensive investigation into the Sterling Street shooting.

Investigators determined Leblanc--who has an extensive criminal history--was seen fleeing the scene with a gun.

Police advise the public to approach the suspect with extreme caution. LeBlanc should be considered armed and dangerous.
