Boys And Girls Club Counselor Arrested

Lafayette Police Department Spokeswoman Corporal Bridgette Dugas says that a counselor at the Boys and Girls Club was arrested on two charges involving a 13-year-old.

Police arrested 21-year-old Jeckell Joseph Fuselier on a charge Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile and on a charge of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile.

Officers say the investigation began a short time ago, and that investigators are still looking into what happened with the 13-year-old.

Detectives were able to find, detain and then arrest Fuselier at a business on Marie Antoinette Street.
