Crowley Shooting Suspect Still At-Large

Acadia Parish Sheriff's investigators are still searching for a Crowley shooting suspect after a multi-agency search was to no avail this morning.

Law enfocement officials ordered a lock-down for Crowley schools near the Kathy Apartment Complex at 200 Kathy Meadows Lane. The lock-down has been lifted following the search this morning.

According to our news partner, KATC, Acadia Parish Sheriff's deputies received a tip this morning that a juvenile suspect was seen near the Kathy and Meadows Apartment complexes.

Crowley Police, Rayne Police and Louisiana State Police assisted deputies in the search, but the juvenile was not found.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office reported the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. Monday and left one male victim in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds.
