
Double Homicide, Cop-Killer Suspect Reportedly Dead In Baton Rouge
The man who allegedly shot and killed a U.S. Marshall near Baton Rouge Tuesday has reportedly died.
Thirty-one-year-old Jamie Croom of New Roads reportedly died early Wednesday morning from gunshot wounds he sustained during a shootout that killed Josie Wells, a deputy with the U.S. Marshall's Service.
According to WAFB, Croom was suspected in a double homicide in New Roads.
Wells was reportedly serving an arrest warrant with the gunfight started.
