Erath Man Finds Bullet Lodged In His Home        

An Erath man has found a bullet, shown below, lodged in a door in his home.

Smitty Lange says that the bullet was found in the upstairs area of his home, a mere 15 feet from where his son sleeps.

Judging by the angle the bullet was lodged, Lange believes that the shot came from the Delcambre area.

Lange says that he is “all about the SAFE use of firearms”, and is concerned for the safety of his friends, neighbors, and family.

If you have any information regarding someone in the Delcambre area shooting willy-nilly, contact the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Department.

If you are shooting willy-nilly, stop it.
