More trouble for a former LSU Tiger.

Ex-Tiger wide receiver Drake Davis was arrested Wednesday by LSU Police and charged with a felony violation of a protective order against the same woman whom he allegedly was abusive to over a cell phone.

The 22-year-old was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish jail.

Davis was kicked off the team last fall after his August 17th arrest on multiple felony charges that he punched and grabbed a female LSU student by the throat in the spring and summer of 2017.

The LSU student detailed to LSU Police last summer that Davis grabbed her by the throat and punched her in the side last April, punched her in the stomach last May, and grabbed her by the throat and punched her in the stomach last June.

Davis was formally charged on those charges earlier this month.

One of LSU's top signees in 2016, Davis would play only two seasons for the Tigers. His freshman year he caught one pass and the next season he grabbed three passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns.
