First U.S. Death From Coronavirus Reported In Washington
The Washington State Department of Health confirms one person has died from the Coronavirus.
This is the first death in the United States.
The Daily Advertiser says the person died in King County, Washington.
The Department will hold a press conference at 1 p.m. PT with more details.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump will speak at a press conference at 1:30 p.m. ET at the White House about the latest developments in the outbreak.
This death comes after four new cases have been confirmed in California, Oregon, and Washington.
Among the cases are an older Northern California woman with chronic health conditions, a high school student, and an employee at a school in Portland.
Health officials say that all three of those cases have not recently traveled oversee or had any known contact with an infected party.
