Former Kinder Police Chief Pleads Guilty To Malfeasance
Former Kinder Police Chief Gary Pelican is awaiting his June 11 sentencing after pleading guilty to one felony count each of malfeasance in office and theft over $1,500.
According to our news partner KATC, Pelican was arrested in January 2013 following a Louisiana State Police investigation that found he was using public credit cards to purchase fuel for himself and family members.
Judge Joel Davis ordered a pre-sentence investigation before his June sentencing in the 33rd Judicial District Court.
