Former Rayne Part Time Officer Arrested – Sexual Battery

Former part-time Rayne Police Officer Troy Menard has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual battery on a minor, one count of lewd or lascivious acts on a minor and one count of aggravated crimes against nature. Warrants for Menard's arrest were issued after the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office investigated a complaint filed on August 4th. Bond for Menard was set at $300,000.
