Getaway Driver Arrested In Early Morning Shooting

20 year old Aaron Carter of Lafayette was arrested and charged with flight from an officer this morning. It's alleged Carter was the driver of a car that was seen leaving the intersection of 11th Street and Orange Street where gunshots were reported. Lafayette City Police responded to the shooting and gave chase to the vehicle being driven by Carter. The car stopped a short time later and two men ran from the vehicle. Police were unable to locate the two men.
