I-10 Lane Closures Begin TONIGHT In Lafayette Parish

Roadwork on opposite ends of I-10 in Lafayette Parish will cause some lane closures over the next few days.

• Wednesday thru Saturday: Louisiana Avenue in BOTH DIRECTIONS under I-10 between the on and off ramps will be closed NIGHTLY from 8 PM until 6 AM - weather permitting – as work is being done on the overpass.
  • DETOUR NORTHBOUND: I-10 Eastbound to LA 328 (Rees Street) to I-10 Westbound to Louisiana Avenue Northbound
  • DETOUR SOUTHBOUND: I-10 Westbound to I-49 to I-10 Eastbound to Louisiana Avenue Southbound
• Thursday: There will be alternating lane closures on the Eastbound and Westbound Inside and Outside lanes of I-10 between the Acadia Parish Line and I-49 from 8 PM until 6 AM – weather permitting – for a sweeping operation.
