I-10 Widening Project Continues This Weekend

As part of the I-10 Widening Project, the on and off ramps of I-10 EASTBOUND at LA 328 (Rees Street) in Breaux Bridge will be closed from 1 AM Saturday until 6 AM Monday (March 9-11), weather permitting.

The reason for the closure is in preparation for the upcoming I-10 Eastbound traffic switch from MM 104 to MM 109, which will happen from 8 PM to 6 AM on Thursday and from 8 PM to 7 AM on Friday (March 7-8). The closures will happen EACH NIGHT on I-10 Eastbound. Also, the right lane of I-10 Eastbound from the same mile markers will be closed NIGHTLY from 8 PM to 6 AM on Saturday and Sunday.

DETOUR: I-10 Eastbound traffic trying to take Exit 109 - LA 328 in Breaux Bridge will be detoured to the Henderson/Cecilia exit then back onto I-10 westbound to Exit 109 - LA 328 in Breaux Bridge.

DETOUR: North and Southbound traffic on LA 328 (Rees Street) will be detoured to I-10 Westbound to Louisiana Avenue (Exit 104) and back onto I-10 Eastbound.
