(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - LSU Football Coach Lane Kiffin was sent to the grocery store, and he returned home with way more than just groceries.

In a viral video posted around Christmas, Kiffiiin is seen walking into a home after grocery shopping, holding a grocery basket. Yes, the new LSU coach used the basket to collect groceries. When it was time to leave after paying, he put the items back in the basket and left the store.

In the video, Kiffin says the store charges customers for bags at the self-checkout lanes, so instead of paying for paper bags, he took the basket he used while shopping.

You can see from his expression that he genuinely thought he had done nothing wrong, but you can't just take the shopping basket because you don't want to pay for paper bags, which may cost 10 cents each. After all, Lane Kiffin can most certainly afford to pay for bags, but you have to applaud how thrifty he is, even with the enormous contract he just signed at LSU.

Check out as Lane Kiffin returns home from grocery shopping with groceries and the grocery basket in hand. Do you think someone in his family returned the basket to the store?

I do.
