Woman Loses Wig as She Interrupts Street Performance in New Orleans

(New Orleans, Louisiana) - A woman walked up to a street performance on Bourbon Street and interrupted it by tossing juggling clubs into the crowd, and then a brawl ensued.

Bourbon Street is known as one big party, and it has long been documented as getting wild and, at times, out of control.

Well, one couple found out the hard way that some people on Bourbon Street aren't there for a good time; they're there to start trouble.

Performers on Bourbon Street

While a street performer was doing his "show," a random woman walked up to him, grabbed the clubs he was using, and started throwing them at people watching his performance.

Amazingly, no one seemed to be seriously injured here, but a fight did break out between the woman who interrupted the performance and a couple she hit with one of the clubs. As you will see in the video linked below, the woman approaches the couple after hitting them with a club, and she swipes the drink out of the man's hand.

A brief scuffle ensues, and soon the woman who attacked the couple slaps the man, and while attempting to contaiin her, he pulls the woman's wig off.

Another man who sees what's happening walks up to the woman who started the commotion on Bourbon Street and escorts her away.

I have no idea what motivated this woman to interrupt the performer, but she did not look pleased that he was doing what he was doing, and she did not seem to appreciate the crowd that he attracted.

Did the performer steal her spot on Bourbon, or did he steal her crowd? We may never know, but she didn't seem happy.
