I think you can understand why Utah will have nothing to do with me. But how would you like to be scattered, covered, and smothered (with kisses) on Valentine's Day? Okay, since that probably won't happen, you can at least get that treatment at a Waffle House restaurant. But only seven locations in Louisiana will be offering the traditional romantic experience.

I get it, Waffle House is not what most ladies will think of first when it comes to a romantic evening out with their dearly beloved. For a lot of men, the chance to go to Waffle House and then head back to the house for a night of romance? Well, that's a win-win.

How Do I Make A Reservation at Waffle House for Valentine's Day?

The tradition of Valentine's Dinner at Waffle House started back in 2008 when some reasonable people with good taste in home-cooked food and a slightly canailles attitude came up with the idea. Needless to say, the idea caught on, and currently 218 Waffle House restaurants have signed on to be a part of the party in 22 different states, including Louisiana.

There are only seven Waffle House restaurants listed on the current roster of participating stores. Of those seven, only one is located in Acadiana. If you wanted to "pitch woo" over a pecan waffle, you need to be in touch with the Carencro location of Waffle House.

Other locations of Waffle House in Louisiana that are offering the Valentine's Dinner are the ones in Lake Charles, Denham Springs, Monroe, Ponchatoula, Ruston, and Slidell. Please note that many of these fine communities are "multi-housed"; they have more than one Waffle House, so you need to check the Waffle House Valentine's list to book the right location.

What Makes Valentine's Dinner at Waffle House Different From Any Other Dinner?

Ladies, you will want to know that your Valentine's Dinner at Waffle House won't be ordinary. You'll be seated at a booth with a tablecloth, candlelight, appropriate music, and, of course, the full Waffle House menu.

Of course, for that to happen, you're going to need to act fast. The Waffle House Valentine's experience fills up fast, and you've seen how big the restaurants are; they don't have that many booths. But if you can secure one, chances are your night of romance will be among the most memorable you've ever had.

Of course, there are other ways to celebrate the relationship between you and your soulmate, but I don't see a Monster Truck Show anywhere close, so I guess you'll have to opt for one of these.
