A Monroe grocery store owner and workers were sentenced Monday to prison terms, probation and restitution for their roles in a scheme to exchange SNAP and WIC benefits for cash and ineligible items.

46 year old Kimberlia Harris of Monroe was sentenced to 51 months in prison, three years probation and ordered to pay $7 million in restitution.

Angela Woods of Monroe was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay over $840,000 in restitution.

Willie Mae Woods-Jackson of Dallas was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay nearly $340,000 in restitution.

Juanita Woods of Monroe was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay over $200,000 in restitution.

Between August of 2008 to early 2014 the women acquired approximately $7 million dollars in the scheme.
