Lafayette Police Conduct Underage Possession Of Alcohol Operation

Lafayette Police conducted an underage alcohol possession operation this weekend to see whether or not there were people in local bars under the age of 21 in possession of alcohol.

Police checked 11 local establishments, and 9 people under the age of 21 were found to be in possession of alcohol.

The four locations where people were found in violation include:

• Prime  533 Jefferson St 1 Summons Possession of Alcohol by Persons under
• The Bulldog  109 General Mouton  1 Summons for No Bar Card
• Bootleggers 525 Jefferson St 2 Summons Possession of Alcohol by Person Under 21 / 3 Summons for No Bar Card
• Nite Town 524 Jefferson St 6 Summons Possession of Alcohol by Person Under 21 / 1 Summons for No Bar Card

There were 7 locations that were checked, and these 7 locations had no violations:

• Legends   413 Jefferson St.
• City Bar   407 Jefferson
• The Office   307 Jefferson
• Karma    314 Jefferson
• Daiquiris Supreme  4680 Johnston
• Jefferson St Pub  500 Jefferson
