Lafayette Police Seeking Armed Robbery Suspects
Lafayette Police are looking for two men involved in an early morning attempted armed robbery.
Spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton says around 1 a.m. July 29, two black men with handguns were dropped off by a white, four-door vehicle at a Circle K on Eraste Landry Road. For whatever reason, they fled before entering the business.
One man was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and khaki shorts. The other was wearing a dark shirt and dark pants.
Mouton says it’s not known whether the incident is related to an armed robbery that happened an hour before at a convenience store in the 100 block of Gloria Switch Road.
As always, call Crimestoppers at 232-TIPS with any information.
