Lafayette Shooting Being Investigated

Officials with the Lafayette Police Department report that they were called out to Edison Street early this morning after a report of a shooting.

According to Lafayette Police Department Spokeswoman Bridgette Dugas, the victim in the case is not giving authorities much information..

The shooting happened at around 3 o'clock this morning inside of home in the 700 block of Edison.

The victim is said to have non-life threatening injuries, and the person was taken to the  hospital.

There have been no arrests in the case, but Dugas says they are still investigating.
