Lane Closure Happening On I-10 Atchafalaya Bridge This Week

From Tuesday through Friday, there will be lane closures happening on the I-10 Atchafalaya Bridge as DOTD crews install a new fiber cable. The single lane closure will happen on I-10 Eastbound in the outside lane from MP 127 to MP 130 on the Bridge.

Splicing will take place at the following mile post markers located within Iberville Parish:

• 127.2 - 1 1/2 mile total lane closure - Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 & Thursday, July 13th, 2017 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM Nightly
• 130.8 - 1/2 mile total lane closure - Wednesday, July 12th, 2017 & Thursday, July 13th, 2017 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM Nightly

This work will be happening on the south side of the Atchafalaya Bridge from the beginning of the Iberville Parish mid-bridge along the Bridge to the end of the bridge, continuing on through Iberville Parish.
