Lane Closures Continue on I-10 as Widening Project Continues This Week

There are numerous lane closures scheduled to happen this week as the widening project continues on Interstate 10.

• I-10 EASTBOUND from mile marker 112 (west of Bordelon Road Overpass) to the Cecilia/Henderson Exit will have alternating lane closures Monday and Tuesday nights from 8 PM until 5:30 AM each night. The entrance and exit ramps at Cecilia/Henderson will remain open.
• Outside lane of I-10 WESTBOUND from Cecilia/Henderson Exit to mile marker 112 (west of Bordelon Road Overpass) will have nightly lane closures on Monday through Friday nights from 8 PM until 5:30 AM each night, as well as Friday and Saturday nights from 9 PM until 9 AM. The entrance and exit ramps at Cecilia/Henderson will remain open.
•  I-10 in both directions from I-49 (MM 102) to the Breaux Bridge exit will have multiple intermittent short term lane closures of 15 minutes or less on Wednesday night from 8 PM to 3 AM the following morning.
• The southbound inside lane of Louisiana Avenue between Pont Des Mouton Road and the I-10 EASTBOUND ramps will be closed for 3 weeks. This will begin on Tuesday, February 4 and will last until Tuesday, February 25. It will happen from 7 AM until 5 PM each day as crews will be removing and replacing damaged sections of the roadway. The outside lane will remain open to traffic.
