
Louisiana High School Teacher Arrested for Soliciting Explicit Images from Students Including Photos of Their Feet
MANDEVILLE, La. (KPEL-FM) -- A high school teacher in Louisiana has been arrested after authorities say the man paid students to send him pictures of their feet along with other sexually explicit photos and videos.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, the department has investigated Jarvis Harry since October 2024.
Harry was on leave from his teaching position at his Mandeville-area high school at the time.
Deputies claim Harry was paying students for feet pictures and he also obtained other sexually explicit videos and pictures of students, leading to more than 300 criminal charges.

During their investigation, deputies reviewed hundreds of social media records, phone logs, and messages, and in the process uncovered evidence that Harry had solicited and collected sexually explicit images and videos from students.
Authorities say Harry was contacting students through various digital platforms and offering money in exchange for images.
The teacher was booked Monday on the following charges:
- 142 counts of pornography involving juveniles
- 60 counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor
- 102 counts of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student
Some of the students involved have been identified but detectives are still working to identify others.
Anyone who believes they or their child may be a victim of Harry is asked to contact the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office at (985) 898-2338.
