UPDATE: Teenager Found Safe, Louisiana State Police Issue Endangered Child Alert for Teenager

Louisiana State Police report that the teenager has been found safe.

Officials with Louisiana State Police have announced they are issuing a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory after a 13-year-old girl was last seen at her home on Saturday, November 9.
Louisiana State Police is asking everyone to be looking for Jokaia Polk. The young black female is described as being five feet, one inch tall, and weighing around 110 pounds.
Officials say she has brown eyes along with "faux-locs" hairstyle. The teenager was last seen dressed in a dark-colored shirt, but officials say the do not know what color the pants were that she was seen wearing at around 9:30 that Saturday evening.
The last time Polk was seen was at her home on North Canterbury Drive in LaPlace.

If you know anything about where Jokaia Polk can be found, you can call the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office by calling them at 504-494-3932 or you can call 985-359-8777. You can also choose to dial 911.
