Student in Louisiana School Pulls Knife Out in Class
We are following a developing story out of St. Landry Parish after a student allegedly pulled a knife out while in a classroom.
KADN News 15 reports that an eight grade student pulled a knife out at Opelousas Jr. High, while in class.
The school resource officer quickly responded to the situation and no one was injured in the classroom.
The St. Landry Parish School Board says the investigation is underway and an immediate recommendation for expulsion has been made.
As more details become available in this case we will share them here, but we do remind parents to talk with their kids about the consequences of threats made to or in classrooms this school year.
