Man Arrested After Shots Fired At Abbeville Walmart
Abbeville Police Department Lieutenant Jonathan Touchet says they were called out to the Abbeville Walmart on Wednesday night after a report that shots had been fired.
When officers got there, witnesses told them there were two people fighting, and then a third person came out of a car. That's when the witnesses told police that person fired some shots into the ground near one of the people fighting.
Police officers say at the time they were working the case at the Walmart scene, some other people went to the police department to report the shooting. After that, officers identified Christian Green as their suspect.
Green agreed to turn himself into the police after they had a phone conversation.
The man was booked with two counts of Illegal Discharge of a Firearm.
This whole situation started at around 8 o'clock Tuesday night.
