Man Arrested On Aggravated Rape Charges
(St. Martinville, La.)-A St. Martinville man is facing rape charges.
On December 25, 2010, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an alleged rape in St. Martinville. Following an investigation into the allegation, Jimmy Chavez, 33, St. Martinville, La., was arrested on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office and charged with the following:
One Count of Aggravated Rape
Mr. Chavez was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charge and his bond has been set at $250,000.00.
