[Original Story] An evening of music on the Las Vegas strip has turned deadly. As of 4 AM CDT authorities in Las Vegas are reporting 20 people are dead and over 100 hundred have been injured.
The Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival was being staged at Mandalay Bay Hotel on the Las Vegas strip. Officials believe the gunman open fire on the crowd across the street shortly after 10 PM from the 32nd floor of the hotel.
Los Angeles TimesAuthorities say the gunman was killed when a SWAT team burst into the room that he was firing from. Police believe the man was acting alone.
