A multi-agency drug operation, led by Shreveport Police and the Caddo Sheriff's Office, gets guns and drugs off the streets and puts criminals behind bars. According to Shreveport Police Chief Ben Raymond, Operation Call Out took place between January 23-25. The operation led 168 arrests and 96 traffic tickets.

Raymond also says that a large quantity of drugs and guns were confiscated during the operation. Forty-eight pounds of marijuana, nearly 200 grams of crack, as well as large quantities of LSD, Ecstasy and MDMA were taken off the streets. Also, 54 guns were confiscated during the sting.

Raymond says that this is the first of many joint operations that he and the other agencies have planned. You can see the full news conference below.
