A Natchitoches man working in Acadiana is in jail after sexually soliciting a juvenile.

Louisiana State Police spokesperson Master Trooper Brooks David reported 44-year-old Kory Wilson was arrested for using a electronic device to communicate with a juvenile in a sexually explicit manner, and share images containing explicit material.

In October, detectives with the State Police Special Victims Unit received information that led authorities to Wilson. A warrant was issued for his arrest. Investigators determined he was living at his place of employment within Acadiana.

On Tuesday, Wilson was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

  • Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile
  • Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor
  • Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile

The case remains under investigation.
