Northside High Shooting Leaves 17-year-old Girl Injured

Lafayette Police are searching for the suspect(s) wanted in a shooting that occurred at Northside High School following last night's football game against Cecilia High.

Our news partner KATC, reported the 17-year-old female victim was walking in front of the school when two men in a brown car drove by firing shots.

Police do not believe the victim, who was shot in the arm, was targeted by the shooters. A school bus and an SUV were damaged by the gunfire, as well.

The girl is expected to recover from her injuries.
