Police Investigating Attempted Robbery Of Moss Street Business

Police in Lafayette are investigating the morning attempted robbery of a business on Moss Street.

According to Lafayette Police Sgt. Kyle Soriez, the victims drove to the business and parked in the parking lot. They then noticed the suspect hiding near the building and then immediately drove off.

The suspect allegedly chased the car on foot while brandishing a firearm.

The suspect is described as a black male, and he was wearing a grey hooded sweat shirt and dark pants.
