Shooting Investigation Continues In St. Mary Parish
A Frankllin man was arrested Saturday morning after allegedly shooting at a St. Mary Parish Sheriff's deputy.
Officials say the deputy was off-duty and leaving a home in the area of the Chitmacha Trail and Flatown Road when the deputy saw two people near a car.
They ran away.
The deputy was not injured
Fellow deputies found 24-year-old Terrel Williams the 4th in the area.
The man is being accused of being on the property to steal the wheels from a vehicle, and there were outstanding warrants for him.
More charges are pending, and the shooting remains under investigation.
