The good news is that Louisiana will most likely go for Donald Trump on election day. There's 8 electoral votes in the President's pocket in his quest to get to the magic 270 number for reelection.

But it looks like the 2020 race for the White House is going to shape up just like in 2016. The east and west coast metropolitan areas will, as always, vote heavily Democratic, the southern US will go for the GOP and, once again, the traditional Rust Belt states of the Midwest will be the deciders.

So, from a campaign professional's point of view, what is the combination of states, i.e., electoral votes, needed by President Trump to cobble together a reelection win? Does he really have to run the table across the Midwest, or can he give up one or two and still hit the needed electoral number?

Well, here's what the experts say...the places Donald Trump needs to return to the White House. No ifs, ands or buts.
