Seven board members of St. Landry Schools sat down Thursday night to discuss changes to the Superintendent's salary.  This in the midst of a search to replace Michael Nassif, who resigned the post last year.  While not all members were present, there were enough to approve changes.

The unanimous vote by the seven members of the board has set the salary for the next superintendent at between $100,000 and $120,000, with no incentives.  Nassif earned $123,000 each year, but was able to increase his pay to $130,000 because of incentives in his contract.

Applications are still being taken to replace Nassif.  The deadline to be considered for the Superintendent of St. Landry Schools is August 27th.
