Sheila Marie Cormier, age 28, 183 Sunset Loop, Sunset, LA, distribution of a schedule II controlled dangerous substance, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of persons under seventeen.
Makenzie McGee, age 23, 1045 Delcambre Rd., Breaux Bridge, La, suspended driver's license, window tint. Arrested by Louisiana State Police.
Harley Marie Arnaud, age 19, 152 Point Claire Ave., #630, Arnaudville, LA, possession of schedule I, illegal use of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of persons under the age of seventeen, drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule IV controlled dangerous substance.
In St. Mary Parish, three people were arrested over the same time period. Deputies say they investigated 30 complaints:
Kristy Ribardi, 38, 106 Home Lane, Berwick, LA was arrested on January 9, 2017 at 11:12 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of unauthorized use of an access card. Ribardi turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.
Dedric Jones, 41, 111 Oak Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on January 9, 2017 at 1:14 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of Xanax and on a warrant for probation violation. Jones turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin. A deputy transported him to the parish jail. No bail is set.
Irving M. Alexis, 55, 812 Chevis Street, Abbeville, LA was arrested on January 9, 2017 at 4:07 pm on a warrant for home improvement fraud. A correctional officer transported Alexis from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. The warrant was issued following an investigation into an August 2016 complaint of possible contractor fraud. The detective found evidence that Alexis accepted over $34,000 from a victim in Sorrel for construction work that was never completed. Bail on the warrant is set at $50,000.
