ST. MARTINVILLE MAN ARRESTED ON FELONY

(St. Martinville, La.)-On January 8, 2011, an investigation was initiated in reference to the alleged sexual abuse of three juvenile females for incidents that occurred sometime beginning in June 2010 through December 2010. Through the course of the investigation the suspect was identified as Ulyesse Barras Jr. and a Warrant of Arrest was obtained. On January 18, 2011, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office arrested and charged Ulyesse Barras Jr.,18, St. Martinville, with the following offenses.

La.R.S. 14:80 Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile

La.R.S. 14:81 (3 cts.) Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile

He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges and his bond was set at $100,000.00.
