On Friday morning,  Narcotics Detectives were called to the St. Mary Parish Motor Pool in reference to packages being located on the premises.

Inside the packages were (2) quart size Ziploc baggies which contained loose tobacco, rolling papers, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and synthetic cannabinoids.

During the investigation, it was learned two trustees identified as Pearce and Boudreaux were involved. Both trustees were observed trying to put the packages in a five-gallon bucket. While Boudreaux was going through the packages and separating them, Pearce was looking out for deputies.

Subsequently, Boudreaux located a surveillance camera, took the camera down and threw it in Bayou Teche.

Both were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set on Pearce and Boudreaux.
