Sugar Jam Fall Concert Series Kicks off This Weekend

The fall 'Sugar Jam' Concert series will get going this Saturday night, August 24th, with the GTO Party Band. The free, family friendly concerts are held on the lawn at Sugar Mill Pond Town Center at 220 Prescott Blvd. in Youngsville on Saturday nights from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Bring your lawn chair and blankets for the fun, but leave the ice chests at home because food and beverages will be available for purchase on site.

This week's event will be dedicated to zydeco musician and Sugar Jam performer Major Handy, who experienced a devastating house fire on August 17th. A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help with expenses to get this beloved local treasure back up on his feet! The fall lineup is below.
