Today, Thursday, November 19 is Children's Grief Awareness Day, and you can show your support for grieving children today simply by wearing blue!

Will you take this challenge?

Each year, our community and others across America come together to show solidarity with grieving children and to let them know we always support them by wearing blue.

Children's Grief Awareness Day is a day set aside for children to grieve after they have lost a loved one.  It is also a day for the adults who love them to show them how much support they have in our community.

Healing House, Hope for Grieving Children, is a local organization designed just for our children who are grieving for a parent, sibling or caretaker.  Officials there tell us that children can often feel very alone after someone they love dies.

Please show your support for our local children today, Thursday, November 19 by wearing blue to work, to school, to the gym or to anywhere you plan on going to tomorrow.
