Teenager Taken Into Custody After Home Invasion In Acadia Parish

Charges against a 15-year-old are pending after police arrested the teen for a home invasion that happened around 8 o'clock this morning at a home on the I-10 Service Road near Rayne.

The Rayne Police Department and then the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office were called out to the home this morning to respond to a call about a burglary.

Sheriff's officials say they found a 15-year-old suspect in the 9200 block of Robert's Cove Road at a home trying to hide from police.

The teen was arrested without incident and charges are pending against the teen.
