Texas Lottery Confirms Big Money Winner in Mega Millions Drawing on Friday

Someone in Texas is waking up one million dollars richer, as Texas Lottery officials confirmed one of the big winners of the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, August 23, 2024, came from a ticket bought in Abilene.

The jackpot winner won a cool million for correctly matching five of the five white numbers. They were only missing the yellow Mega Ball.

Unfortunately, the person didn't have the multiplier on their ticket, which could have netted them $3 Million.

The Mega Millions winning numbers from Friday, August 23, 2024, were as follows:

Another person in Texas scored a $10,000 win in Friday's drawing, having four of the five numbers correct in the drawing.

While we don't know who the big $1 Million winner is, we do know that the winning ticket was bought at DK #5 located at 2718 North First in Abilene.

By the way, no one won the big jackpot of $535 Million. The estimated jackpot for the next drawing will be a whopping $575 Million with an estimated cash value of $285.5 Million.

That drawing will take place on Tuesday, August 27 at 10:00 pm.
