Two Louisiana Kids Found In Ariz After Month-Long Search
SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Louisiana State Police say two kidnapped boys, aged 2 and 7, have been found in Casa Grande, Arizona, after a monthlong search.
Sgt. James Anderson says in a brief news release that the boys were not harmed. He says their mother, 28-year-old Antoinette Wong, and the man accused of helping to kidnap the boys from northwest Louisiana are in custody.
Wong and 34-year-old Keith Rogers are accused of taking the boys by force on Jan. 12 from addresses several miles apart in Shreveport, a city of 198,000.
Anderson did not say how they were tracked to Casa Grande, a city of 51,500 some 50 miles southeast of Phoenix.
He referred questions about the case to Shreveport police.
A Shreveport city police spokesman did not immediately answer an emailed query Sunday.
