Two Wounded In Opelousas Shooting

Opelousas police say two people riding in a car were wounded when someone shot at their vehicle.

That shooting happened Sunday night around 7 p.m. on East Madison Street near East Street.

Police say three people were in the car when the shooting happened. Police describe one of the people in the car as "the victim," but they did not say if he was the person targeted by the gunmen or if he was one of the two people wounded by the gunmen.
