Vitter Comments On Shooting

(Washington, D.C.) — U.S. Sen. David Vitter has issued the following statement in reaction to the tragic news about Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and others who were shot at event in Tucson, Arizona. "Wendy and I join all other Louisianians in praying urgently and fervently for Congresswoman Giffords and those others who were shot at her town hall meeting. This is a horrible, despicable attack on good people and on our very democracy. We'll continue our sincere prayer vigil," said Vitter.
