Acadia Officials Need Help Finding A Stolen Travel Trailer
Imagine you want to take a vacation to your favorite camping spot, or to the beach, but you can't go because someone has stolen your travel trailer. That's just the case in an area west of Crowley that happened to an owner there back on April 4 of this year.
Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers officials, via a press release, say they are featuring a case this week of a 24-foot travel trailer that was taken from a place in the 6000 block of Egan Highway.
If you would like to help deputies as they investigate the theft, you should be on the lookout for a 2016 Heartland North Trail Ultra Live that was stolen in the middle of the night that Sunday.
Officials with Acadia Crime Stoppers have pictures here of the travel trailer. As it shows in the pictures, it's a tan trailer, but it also has some black and maroon decals.
Can you imagine someone stealing your travel trailer? Can you imagine the cost to replace it? Acadia Parish officials say the trailer is valued at around $18,000.
If you can help by providing information anonymously, then please call the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 337-789-TIPS(8477).
