Air Conditioning Unit Stolen From Acadiana Veterans

The Church Point American Legion Hall sure could use some help in finding the person responsible for stealing their air conditioning unit.

Officials with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office are asking the public's help in getting information about who stole the unit from the ALH at 1909 Lawtell Highway a few weeks ago.

It was actually stolen as some point on Tuesday, May 7.

The air conditioning unit is a 5 ton R410 Trane unit, and Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers officials say it's worth more than $2,100.
