An Unsolved Murder Sees Anniversary Yesterday

It was one year ago yesterday that the body of Darnell James Andrew of Breaux Bridge was found in the trunk of a car set on fire in the 100 block of Felix Road in Lafayette.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office responded to the call of a car on fire, and when they opened the trunk of the car, found a man inside. The body was heavily damaged by the fire, but police were able to identify him.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is hoping to jog the memory of people who might be able to remember anything about the incident if the story is re-released.
