Arrest Made In IHOP Double Homicide
The suspect wanted for the double homicide of a man and woman at a Lafayette IHOP has been arrested.
Lafayette PD spokesman Cpl. Karl Ratcliff said John Christopher McGraw, of New Orleans, was arrested on Friday.
The U.S. Marshall Service Violent Offender Task Force apprehended McGraw in Marrero. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of 49-year-old Madrona Brown, of New Orleans' and 45-year-old Larry Brown, of Lafayette.
On September 29th, officers responded to the parking lot of IHOP, on Evangeline Thruway, to find both victims shot to death.
