As Temperatures Heat Up Don’t Forget About The Pups
Stepping out into the humid Louisiana summer heat can be unbearable. You instantly start sweating, your glasses fog up, your hair is a hot mess, but even worse than all of that is the moment you get into your car that's been baking in the sun all day.
Getting into my car is, hands down, my least favorite part of summertime in Louisiana. No one likes to sit in a car with no AC and the windows rolled up, it's like sitting in an oven! So, why would anyone leave their dog in the car to bake in the backseat?
I mean, look at that chart! In just 10 minutes a car sitting in 75 degree weather will heat up to 100 degrees. That's insane! Can you imagine how hot a car get's during those over 100, cook an egg on the sidewalk, scorcher kind of days?
So, what's the moral of the story? Don't leave your dogs in the car!
I think we all know that by now, but just in case you needed a reminder, here it is. Plus, you don't want anyone to break your window in an attempt to save your puppy, right?
