(St. Martinville, LA.)-Shortly after 7:00 p.m. last night, Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call regarding a disturbance involving several subjects along with a report of shots fired at a residence in the 2200 block of Doyle Melancon Road in Breaux Bridge, LA. Upon initial investigation, Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office determined that following an altercation involving several subjects outside of the residence, shots were fired and one vehicle sustained damage. No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting and the suspect subsequently fled the scene.
 
Upon further investigation, Investigators were able to identify the suspect as Corday Treveil Taylor, Jr., 18, Breaux Bridge. He was arrested early this morning at a residence in Breaux Bridge and was charged as follows:
 
La. R. S.:-14:37.4- 10 counts-Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
 
Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges.
